President Rodrigo Duterte oversaw the last Cabinet meeting of his administration, in which his officials expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve the country.  

“I heard him repeatedly say, ‘I didn’t make a mistake in my choice of Cabinet officials,’” Acting Cabinet Secretary Melvin Matibag said the following day.

May 30: ‘Almost done’ packing up his things

President Rodrigo Duterte is ready to vacate Malacañang and go home, Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea said, as quoted by Inquirer.

“Two or three months ago, he started sending his things home,” Medialdea told reporters. “All of those would be sent to Davao.”

In February, Duterte said he was readying to vacate the Palace, as he longed for retirement.
