Magnitude 4.3 earthquake hits Antique

MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) recorded a magnitude 4.3 tectonic earthquake at 12:48 pm near San Jose de Buenavista, Antique.

According to PHIVOLCS' resource page for the quake, it was felt as an intensity II earthquake in Boracay Island, and as an intensity III earthquake in Tibiao, Culasi, and San Jose in Antique, and in Caticlan, Aklan.

A magnitude 4.2 tremor was felt in parts of Luzon on Wednesday, December 18. The earthquake hit 4 kilometers southeast of Binalonan town in Pangasinan and could be felt from in varying intensities from Quezon City to Baguio City. Rappler.com
