As of 3:58 pm on Wednesday, May 11, with 95.55% of precincts reporting, Duterte, a pre-election survey front-runner, tops the race with 15,858,343 votes.

In a phone interview with Rappler around 7:45 pm on Monday, amid the transmission of votes, Duterte said he is not yet confident that he will win.

Hanggang the last vote na hindi pa nabilang, I am not there until I’m there,” the mayor said. “Hindi ko naman kontrolado kung talagang manalo ako. I just keep quiet.

(Until the last vote has not been counted, I am not there until I’m there. The outcome of the presidential race is not in my hands. I just keep quiet.)

Duterte is still followed by administration standard-bearer Manuel Roxas II with 9,659,729. Roxas already conceded to Duterte on Tuesday, and wished him success. (Check out Rappler’s live blog: LIVE COVERAGE: 2016 Philippine elections)

Independent candidate Senator Grace Poe is closely behind Roxas with 8,909,684 votes. Poe was the first to concede to Duterte, and also told him that she wants to propose an “electoral agenda.”

United Nationalist Alliance (UNA)’s Vice President Jejomar Binay is in 4th place with 5,299,679 votes. Binay has said he is not yet conceding and will wait for the complete count.

Meanwhile, Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago of the People’s Reform Party trails behind in last place with 1,416,717 votes.

Duterte’s running mate Senator Alan Peter Cayetano is 3rd with 5,648,696 votes, while Senator Francis Escudero, running mate of Poe, follows him with 4,795,613 votes.

Senator Antonio Trillanes IV has 839,608 votes, while Senator Gregorio Honasan II has 756,294 votes, so far. They are at 5th and 6th places, respectively.

Asked for his reaction to Marcos previously being in the lead, Duterte said that he was more concerned about the numbers of his running mate, Cayetano.

But the mayor clarified that he is willing to work with anyone chosen by the Filipino people.

“As a government employee, I can always work with anybody. Walang problema ho ‘yan (there’s no problem with that),” Duterte told Rappler.

“This is not my property. This is the Republic of the Philippines and whoever is elected by the people to serve, we must work together,” he added.
