MANILA, Philippines – Alfredo Lim, former senator of the Philippines and the incumbent Mayor of the city of Manila formally launches his campaign for re-election as the Mayor of Manila. He is running under the Liberal Party.
President Benigno Aquino III endorses Lim, as a payback for the former police general’s loyalty to his mother, the late President Corazon Aquino.
