The slate led by outgoing Imus congressman Alex Advincula, who is running for mayor of Cavite’s capital city, endorsed the presidential bid of Vice President Leni Robredo at Team Imus’ proclamation rally on Friday, March 25.

Advincula, whose councilor son is seeking to replace him as 3rd district representative, was among the officials who welcomed Robredo during her first visit to Cavite during the election season.

Advincula became friends with Robredo when they served their first term in the House of Representatives at the same time.

Based on police estimate, around 10,000 supporters attended the rally at the Imus Grandstand in Barangay Malagasang 1-G.
