[WATCH] Gutoc: Huwag sana masamain ng publiko na ‘nagtraydor si Sam’

Mindanaoan civic leader Samira Gutoc filed her certificate of candidacy (COC) for senator on Sunday, October 3.

Gutoc, who ran for senator in 2019 under the opposition’s Otso Diretso ticket, is now running under Aksyon Demokratiko, a party led by presidential aspirant Manila Mayor Isko Moreno. Aksyon was part of the Otso Diretso coalition.

Speaking with reporters outside the Sofitel hotel, the Commission on Elections’ COC filing venue, Gutoc said she spoke with Vice President Leni Robredo before choosing to run under Aksyon Demokratiko. Robredo chairs the Liberal Party (LP), which was also part of Otso Diretso.
