Over a year since the Philippines’ first coronavirus case was detected, and 11 months since a pandemic was declared, the country finally began legally administering COVID-19 vaccines on Monday, March 1.
The Duterte government launched its vaccination drive with 600,000 doses of Sinovac’s CoronaVac donated by the Chinese government.
