The fight against the Human Immunodeficiency Virus and Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (HIV/AIDS) epidemic has become more challenging with the COVID-19 pandemic the world is dealing with now.

The Department of Health had previously said that the Philippines has one of the “fastest-growing” HIV epidemics in the world.
