
The Philippine government released an advisory listing facilities with the most affordable testing for detection of COVID-19.
Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, in a press briefing on September 22, gave the names of the following facilities offering Reverse Transcription – Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests that cost between P1,750 to P2,000:
- Philippine Children’s Medical Center – Quezon Boulevard
- National Kidney and Transplant Institute – East Avenue, Quezon City
- Lung Center of the Philippines – East Avenue
- Dr Jose N. Rodriguez Memorial Hospital – Caloocan
- Perpetual Help College Center – Las Piñas
- Jose B. Lingad Memorial General Hospital – Pampanga
- Western Visayas Medical Center – Iloilo
- Vicente Sotto Memorial Hospital – Cebu
- University of Cebu Medical Center
- Cebu Molecular Laboratory
- Eastern Visayas Regional Medical Center – Tacloban
- St. Paul’s Hospital – Tacloban
- Baguio General Hospital
- Zamboanga City Medical Center
- Teresita Jalandoni Provincial General Hospital – Negros Occidental

Private facilities also offer RT-PCR tests, but with a pricing that is said to be higher than the above-listed locations.
