MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED) – A lone bettor won the P142-million jackpot in the Super Lotto 6/49 draw on Sunday night, May 12.

The winning combination was 25-31-07-28-18-27, for a prize of P142,668,428.80 before taxes. The winner bought the lucky ticket from an outlet inside a mall in San Lazaro, Manila.

The Ultra Lotto 6/58 jackpot prize of P72,169,131.40 was also won by only one bettor, from Olongapo City, Zambales. The winning combination was 06-17-04-26-08-15.

Both winners from Manila and Zambales claimed their checks on Tuesday, May 14, according to the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO).

The winners are both males, with one a bachelor and the other a family man.

Sunday's jackpot is far from the biggest prize in lotto history. In October 2018, two people divided the P1.18-billion Ultra Lotto 6/58 prize after almost 8 months of no bettor winning.

Chances of winning the jackpot are slim, with one in 40,475,358 for the Ultra Lotto. But several players have succeeded in bringing home hundreds of millions. (LIST: Biggest lotto jackpots won in PH)
