After their heroic death due to the onslaught of Typhoon Karding in Luzon, the five rescuers from Bulacan will be honored by their province on Friday, September 30.
George Agustin, Troy Justin Agustin, Marby Bartolome, Jerson Resurrecion, and Narciso Calayag Jr. died during rescue operations in San Miguel town in Bulacan on September 25.
Bulacan local officials, and even senators, have mourned the rescuers’ deaths and paid tribute to the fallen heroes.
