Three award-winning Filipino journalists delve into this heated topic on Saturday, May 8, in a forum organized by the Embassy of Canada in the Philippines in partnership with the University of the Philippines Journalism Department and the Philippine Journalism Research Conference 2021.
Rappler investigative editor Miriam Grace Go, News5 editor-at-large and Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Manny Mogato, and ANC anchor Christian Esguerra are the panelists in the McLuhan panel forum titled “Philippine Journalism in the New Normal: Challenges and Opportunities,” moderated by GMA News’ Kara David.
The three panelists are all recipients of the Canadian embassy’s Marshall McLuhan Fellowship for Excellence in Journalism – Go in 2002, Mogato in 2017, and Esguerra in 2020.
