The pilot of a Philippine Air Force (PAF) helicopter died while three others were hurt when their aircraft crashed while conducting an engineering flight in Getafe, Bohol, on Tuesday, April 27.

Getafe police chief Captain Fernando Peroramas said that based on initial reports, the helicopter crashed due to mechanical failure. He identified the fatality as Captain Aurelios Olano, who was the pilot.

The three passengers survived the crash and were brought to President Carlos P. Garcia Memorial Hospital, Peroramas said.
