Reno liver spread gets FDA approval
The best seller returns to the market after it was earlier delisted by the Food and Drug Administration

Reno liver spread is back in the market after it secured a Certificate of Product Registration (CPR), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Director General Eric Domingo confirmed to Rappler on Saturday, October 17.

In a DZMM interview on Friday, Domingo said that Reno was issued CPR about two weeks ago.

In September, FDA warned the public against purchase of unregistered food products and food supplements, including the best-selling liver spread Reno, due to lack of corresponding CPRs.

“Since these unregistered food products and food supplements have not gone through evaluation process of the FDA, the agency cannot assure its quality and safety,” the FDA said. – Rappler.com
