Still cloudy for parts of VisMin on Saturday

MANILA, Philippines – Cloudy skies will persist over parts of Visayas and Mindanao on Saturday, November 21, according to state weather bureau PAGASA. 

In its 5 pm bulletin Friday, November 20, PAGASA said these skies will bring light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms over Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and Davao Region in the next 24 hours.

An intertropical convergence zone is still affecting Mindanao, while Typhoon In-Fa was located outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility at 2,350 km east of Mindanao.

The typhoon, which is moving west northwest at a speed of 20 kilometers/hour (km/h), has maximum sustained winds of 140 km/h near the center, and gustiness of up to 170 km/h. 

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. 

Moderate to strong winds will blow from the northeast over the extreme Northern Luzon, causing moderate to rough seas. Elsewhere, coastal seas will be slight to moderate as light to moderate winds blow from the northeast.
