Rainy Thursday for Visayas, Caraga, parts of Luzon

MANILA, Philippines – The Visayas region and parts of Luzon and Mindanao can expect rainy weather on Thursday, January 28, says the country’s weather monitoring agency.

The northeast monsoon will bright rains to the following areas according to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA):

Visayas
Caraga
Cordillera
Cagayan Valley
Bicol
Aurora province
Rizal province
Quezon province

Only isolated light rains are expected in the rest of Luzon, including Metro Manila. The rest of Mindanao may be in for isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

The entire archipelago should brace for moderate to strong winds brought about by the monsoon. These winds may make ocean waters moderate to rough.
