Rainy Wednesday for Visayas, parts of Mindanao

MANILA, Philippines – Expect rainy weather in Visayas and some parts of Mindanao on Wednesday, February 3, says the country’s weather agency.

The Mindanao areas likely to be affected are Caraga, Zamboanga Peninsula, and Northern Mindanao, says the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

Along with the entire Visayas, these regions are expected to have light to moderate rains on Wednesday.

Light rains, meanwhile, are likely in Cagayan de Oro and Cordillera in Luzon.

The Ilocos region is in for some isolated light rains while the rest of the country can expect isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Those in Northern Luzon should brace for moderate to strong winds due to the Northeast Monsoon. These winds will likely make ocean waters moderate to rough.

The rest of the country will have light to moderate winds leading to calmer waters.
