Still cloudy for parts of Luzon, Visayas on Friday

MANILA, Philippines – Cloudy skies will persist over different parts of Luzon and Visayas on Friday, February 5, according to state weather bureau PAGASA.

In its 5 pm bulletin Thursday, February 4, PAGASA said Aurora, Quezon, Bicol Region, and Eastern Visayas will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms in the next 24 hours.

Cagayan Valley, and Cordillera will also have cloudy skies but with light rains.

A northeast monsoon is still affecting Northern Luzon, while easterlies are affecting the eastern section of Central Luzon, Southern Luzon, and Visayas.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies will bring isolated light rains over Ilocos Region, and isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

Moderate to strong winds will blow from the northeast over Northern Luzon, causing moderate to rough seas. Elsewhere, coastal waters will be slight to moderate as light to moderate winds blow from the east to northeast.
