MANILA, Philippines – A northeast monsoon is affecting Northern Luzon and Central Luzon, while the tail-end of a cold front is affecting Southern Luzon, according to state weather bureau PAGASA.
In its 5 am bulletin released on Sunday, February 7, PAGASA said cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms will be experienced over CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, and the provinces of Capiz and Aklan.
Cloudy skies with light rains is also expected over Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, Cordillera, Cagayan Valley, and Central Luzon.
The rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Luzon and coming from the east to northeast over Visayas.
