Cloudy Saturday for parts of Luzon

MANILA, Philippines – Cagayan, Isabela, and Batanes will have cloudy skies on Saturday, March 12, according to state weather bureau PAGASA.

In its 5 pm bulletin Friday, March 11, PAGASA said these skies will bring light rains in the next 24 hours.

A northeast monsoon is affecting the extreme Northern Luzon, while easterlies are affecting the eastern section of the country.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies will bring isolated light rains over the regions of Ilocos, Cordillera, and the rest of Cagayan Valley, and isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

Moderate to strong winds will blow from the northeast over Northern Luzon, causing moderate to rough seas. Elsewhere, light to moderate winds will blow from the east to northeast, causing slight to moderate seas.
