Rainy Wednesday for parts of Northern Luzon

MANILA, Philippines – Some provinces in Northern Luzon may have light to moderate rains on Wednedsay, March 16, predicts the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

In its Tuesday evening forecast, it said the provinces of Cagayan and Isabela, as well as the islands of Batanes, Babuyan, and Calayan are in for some isolated thunderstorms as well.

The rest of the country is likely to experience only partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains or thunderstorms, adds the weather monitoring agency.

Northern Luzon may experience moderate to strong winds on Wednesday, which are likely to make ocean waters around the region moderate to rough.

The rest of the archipelago will enjoy light to moderate winds leading to slight to moderate waters.
