MANILA, Philippines – The whole country will still be partly cloudy to cloudy on Friday, April 8, according to state weather bureau PAGASA. 

In its 5 pm bulletin Thursday, April 7, PAGASA said partly cloudy to cloudy skies will bring isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country, mostly over the eastern section.  

The ridge of high pressure area is extending over Northern Luzon, while easterlies are affecting the eastern section of Central Luzon, Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

Light to moderate winds blowing from the east to southeast will prevail over Luzon, and from the east over the rest of the country. Coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate.
