Cloudy Friday for extreme Northern Luzon

MANILA, Philippines – The islands of Batanes, Calayan, and Babuyan will be cloudy on Friday, May 13, according to state weather bureau PAGASA. 

In its 5 pm bulletin Thursday, May 12, PAGASA said these areas will experience light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms. 

The tail-end of a cold front is affecting extreme Northern Luzon, while easterlies are affecting the eastern section of the country. 

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening. 

Light to moderate winds will blow from the east to southeast over Northern Luzon, and from the east over the rest of the country. Coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate.
