MANILA, Philippines – The low pressure area located east of Borongan, Eastern Samar, has developed into a tropical depression on Friday, July 29, according to state weather bureau PAGASA.
In its 11 am bulletin Friday, PAGASA said Tropical Depression Carina was estimated at 195 kilometers east of Borongan City, Eastern Samar, with maximum winds of 45 km per hour (km/h) near the center.
