MANILA, Philippines – State weather bureau PAGASA is monitoring a low pressure area (LPA) located 950 kilometers east of Casiguran, Aurora.

In its bulletin issued 5 pm on Tuesday, October 4, PAGASA said the LPA is embedded along the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ), which is affecting Southern Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao.

Light to moderate rain and thunderstorms are expected in Metro Manila, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Bicol, the Visayas, and Mindanao on Wednesday, October 5.

The rest of Luzon will have isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
