MANILA, Philippines – Eastern Visayas and Mindanao will experience light to moderate rain on Sunday, November 6, according to state weather bureau PAGASA.

In its weather bulletin Saturday afternoon, November 5, PAGASA said that an intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) hovers over Mindanao, while the northeast monsoon is affecting northern and central Luzon.

As such, Eastern Visayas and Mindanao will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rain and thunderstorms within the next 24 hours.

Skies in the regions of Bicol, Mimaropa, and Calabarzon, plus the rest of Visayas will be partly cloudy to cloudy, with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Over at Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon, it will be partly cloudy to cloudy, with isolated light rain.

Moderate to strong winds from the northeast will blow over Luzon and Visayas, where coastal waters will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, light to moderate winds from the northeast to northwest will prevail, with slight to moderate seas.

Meanwhile, the tropical storm with international name Meari was located at 2,015 km east of northern Luzon, outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility, as of 4 pm Saturday.
