MANILA, Philippines – More areas were placed under signal number 1 as Tropical Depression Maring maintained its strength and continued moving west northwest early Monday evening, September 11.
In a bulletin issued past 8 pm on Monday, state weather bureau PAGASA said Maring is already 255 kilometers east of Infanta, Quezon, moving at 13 kilometers per hour (km/h).
The tropical depression continues to have maximum winds of 45 km/h and gustiness of up to 60 km/h.
Signal number 1 is raised in the following areas due to Maring:

- Catanduanes
- Camarines Norte
- Camarines Sur

- Pampanga
