Cloudy Batanes, scorching Tuguegarao
MANILA, Philippines - The tail-end of a cold front continues to affect the country's northernmost Batanes Group of Islands. It will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms, according to the 24-hour weather bulletin from PAGASA issued 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 6. Ridge of High Pressure Area is extending across Luzon.
The rest of the country will get a "generally good weather." Isolated rainshowers are likely over Visayas and Mindanao -- Iloilo, Cebu, Tacloban, Cagayan De Oro, Davao, and Zamboanga.
It's going to be hottest in Tuguegarao City, which could record up to 37 degrees Celsius on Sunday. Metro Manila could reach up to 35 degrees.
But temperatures are expected to go down a little starting Sunday evening. PAGASA's extended weather outlook from April 7 to April 10 shows northern Luzon cities Tuguegarao, Laoag, and Baguio will experience rainshowers or thunderstorms.
