Sunday: Cold front, ITCZ bring rain
MANILA, Philippines - Mindanao, Visayas, and parts of northern Luzon can expect rain Sunday, May 12, with two weather systems affecting the said regions.
PAGASA said the tail-end of a cold front is affecting northern Luzon, while the southern areas of Mindanao continues to feel the effects of an intertropical convergence zone.
Residents of Mindanao, Visayas, Ilocos, the Cordilleras, and Cagayan Valley will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rains.
The rest of the country will have isolated rain, particularly late in the day, accompanying partly cloudy skies.
No tropical cyclone exists within the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).
