PAGASA’s latest update, at 10:30 pm August 12, states that “all Public Storm Warning Signals are now lowered.”

Despite this, Typhoon Labuyo is expected to enhance the southwest monsoon. This will bring moderate to occasionally heavy rains over the Western section of Southern Luzon and Visayas.

Fishermen, especially those with small seacraft, are advised not to venture out onto the northern seaboard of Northern Luzon, the seaboards of Southern Luzon and western seaboard of Visayas due to the waves made by the typhoon.

While most provinces and cities initially affected by the typhoon will resume classes on Tuesday, a few will keep classes suspended. Check here for updates on class suspensions for August 13.
