MANILA, Philippines – Parts of the country’s eastern seaboard will have cloudy skies Wednesday, December 18, state weather bureau PAGASA said.

Extreme north Luzon will feel the effects of the tail-end of a cold front, while the trough of a low pressure area is affecting eastern Mindanao.

Cloudy skies accompanied by light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms are forecast for Batanes, Aurora, Quezon, the regions of Bicol and Caraga, and the Calayan islands.

The rest of the archipelago will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains or thunderstorms.

There are no tropical cyclones within the Philippine Area of Responsibility, the bureau said.
