MANILA, Philippines – Fair weather will continue across the archipelago on Wednesday, January 29, state weather bureau PAGASA said.

The northeast monsoon continues to affect Luzon and the Visayas, the bureau said in its 24-hour forecast Tuesday, January 28.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies can be expected over Luzon, the Visayas, and eastern sections of Mindanao. These areas can also expect to experience isolated light rain, the bureau said.

Meanwhile, the rest of Mindanao should expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms.

Prevailing winds will come from the northeast to north. There are currently no tropical cyclone within the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).
