MANILA, Philippines – Warmer temperatures will still be experienced in large parts of the country Monday, February 10, state weather bureau PAGASA said.

The easterly winds will continue bringing warm air from the Pacific to the eastern sections of the Visayas and Mindanao, the bureau said in its 24-hour forecast Sunday, February 9.

Cloudy skies with light to moderate rain is expected in Mindanao and Leyte, accompanied by light to moderate rain and thunderstorms.

The rest of the archipelago will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies, accompanied by isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms, the bureau said.

Prevailing winds will come from the east to northeast.

There are no tropical cyclones within the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), the bureau added.
