Fair weather in Luzon, Visayas; Partly cloudy in Mindanao

MANILA, Philippines – Fair weather will prevail across most parts of the country Wednesday, February 19, state weather bureau PAGASA said.

Luzon and the Visayas, currently feeling the effects of the northeast monsoon, should expect fair weather to at times cloudy skies, PAGASA said in its 24-hour forecast early Wednesday.

There will be isolated light rains in these areas, the bureau said.

On the other hand, Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies, accompanied by isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Prevailing winds will come from the northeast.

There are no tropical cyclones within the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), the bureau added.
