MANILA, Philippines – Large parts of the country’s Pacific coast will have cloudy skies Wednesday, February 26, state weather bureau PAGASA said.

Visayas and Luzon will continue to feel the effects of the northeast monsoon, or the amihan, bringing cooler temperatures to the area.

Quezon, Aurora, and the regions of Eastern Visayas, Bicol and Cagayan Valley will have cloudy skies with light rains, the bureau’s 24-hour forecast, released Tuesday afternoon, February 25, said.

The rest of Luzon and the Visayas will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains, while Mindanao will also be partly cloudy to cloudy accompanied with isolated rain and thunderstorms.

Prevailing winds will come from the northeast.

There are no tropical cyclones within the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), the bureau added.
