MANILA, Philippines – Large parts of the country’s Pacific coast will have cloudy skies Sunday, March 16, state weather bureau PAGASA said.

In its 5am bulletin, PAGASA said the country will continue to feel the effects of the northeast monsoon, or the amihan, bringing cooler temperatures to the area.

Eastern Visayas and Mindanao will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms, while eastern Luzon is expected to experience cloudy skies with light rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated light rains, while the remaining parts of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

There are no tropical cyclones within the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), the bureau added.
