MANILA, Philippines – Tropical Storm Henry (international codename Matmo) intensified as it moves over the Philippine Sea, state weather bureau PAGASA said.

As of 10 am Saturday, July 19, Henry was located at 560 km east of Guiuan, Eastern Samar.

It has maximum sustained winds of 95 km per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 120 km per hour.

Henry will move northwest at 19 km per hour, with an estimated rainfall amount from 7.5 to 15 mm per hour (moderate to heavy) within the 400 km diameter.

It is expected to be at 470 km east of Virac, Catanduanes on Sunday morning, July 20; at 410 km east of Tuguegarao, Cagayan on Monday morning, July 21; and at 120 km east of Basco, Batanes on Tuesday morning, July 22.
