MANILA, Philippines – Those vacationing on Friday, August 22, as part of the long weekend may be in for some rains.

According to state weather bureau PAGASA, Visayas, Caraga, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, Bicol region and Mimaropa (Region IV-B) will experience light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms on Friday.

Meanwhile, other parts of the country, including Metro Manila will have slightly fairer weather, said PAGASA in their August 21, 5 pm bulletin. They can expect only some isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Light to moderate winds will prevail all over the archipelago leading to slight to moderate coastal waters.
