PAGASA predicts Ompong will move further north at 13 kph.

Heavy to intense rains are expected within the 600 km diameter of the typhoon.

Rough to very rough sea conditions over the northern and eastern seaboards of Northern Luzon and over the eastern seaboard of Luzon and Visayas are expected.
