MANILA, Philippines – Parts of Mindanao will have cloudy skies on Sunday, October 26, due to an intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ), said state weather bureau PAGASA.

In its 5 pm weather forecast bulletin on Saturday, PAGASA said that the Zamboanga Peninsula and Soccsksargen regions, as well as the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the Cagayan Valley region and the provinces of Apayao and Ilocos Norte will be partly cloudy to at times cloudy with isolated light rains, as the northeast monsoon prevails over extreme northern Luzon.

The rest of the country, including Metro Manila, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Moderate to occasionally strong winds from the northeast will blow over Luzon, where coastal waters will be moderate to occasionally rough.

Elsewhere, light to moderate winds blowing from the east to northeast will prevail, and the seas will be slight to moderate.
