MANILA, Philippines – Monday, December 15, will be cool, cloudy, and a bit rainy for most of the Philippines, government forecasters said Sunday, December 14.

In their 24-hour forecast issued 5pm Sunday, state weather bureau PAGASA said cloudy skies with light to moderate rain can be expected in Central Luzon, Southern Luzon, Metro Manila, Bicol, Eastern Visayas, and the provinces of Mindoro, Marinduque, and Romblon.

Meanwhile, northern Luzon regions will have cloudy skies with light rain, while the rest of the archipelago will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies accompanied by isolated rain or thunderstorms.

The country will be affected by the cold front, particularly Southern Luzon, while northern and central parts of Luzon will feel the effects of the northeast monsoon, or amihan.

Temperatures in major cities across the country range from a low of 15ºC in Baguio, to a high of 35ºC in Zamboanga City.

There are currently no major weather disturbances within the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).
