MANILA, Philippines – Three islands in the extreme Northern Luzon will experience partly cloudy skies on Saturday, February 28, according to state weather bureau PAGASA.

In its 5 pm bulletin Friday, February 27, PAGASA said a weak northeast monsoon is affecting extreme Northern Luzon. The islands of Batanes, Calayan, and Babuyan will have partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies with isolated light rains in the next 24 hours. 

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Light to moderate winds will blow from the northeast to east over extreme Northern Luzon, and from the northeast over the rest of the country. Coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate.
