MANILA, Philippines – As of 4:00 am Friday, July 3, Tropical Storm Egay’s center was estimated based on all available data to be 330 km northeast of Virac, Catanduanes. The tropical storm carries with it maximum winds of 65 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 80 km/h. It is forecast to move northwest at 13 km/h. 

Rains with gusty winds will be experienced over Isabela. Meanwhile, the Bicol Region and Samar will have cloudy skies with moderate to occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms, and these may trigger flashfloods and landslides.

Metro Manila, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Zamboanga Peninsula, the rest of Visayas, and the provinces of Cagayan, Aurora, Zambales and Bataan should expect cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms. 

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated thunderstorms will prevail over the rest of country.
