Cloudy Monday for parts of Luzon, Vis-Min

MANILA, Philippines – Visayas, Mindanao, and regions of Ilocos, Cordillera, Cagayan Valley, and Central Luzon will have cloudy skies on Monday, May 23, according to state weather bureau PAGASA.

In its afternoon bulletin on Sunday, May 22, the weather agency added that these skies will bring light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms.

Manila and the rest of Luzon, meanwhile, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening. 

An intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) continues to affect Southern Mindanao while the tail-end of a cold front is affecting Northern Luzon

Light to moderate winds from the south will prevail over Luzon while winds over Visayas and Mindanao will be coming from southeast to south.

Coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate.
