Rainy Thursday for Bicol region, Quezon

MANILA, Philippines – Bicol region and Quezon province are in for a rainy Thursday on July 22, says the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration. 

In the agency’s Wednesday evening bulletin, it said a low pressure area (LPA) was spotted 235 kilometers north of Virac, Catanduanes at 4 pm, Wednesday.

Bicol region and Quezon province can expect light to moderate rains and thunderstorms. The rest of the country, including Metro Manila, is likely to have only isolated thunderstorms with partly cloudy to cloudy skies. 

Northern Luzon should brace for moderate to strong winds. Thus, ocean waters in this region will be moderate to rough.

The rest of the country will experience only light to moderate winds, says PAGASA. This means ocean waters in these areas will be slight to moderate.
