MANILA, Philippines – Rain will be experienced in different parts of the country on Wednesday, September 2, says the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

Rainy weather is expected in the following areas:

Metro Manila
Central Luzon
Calabarzon
Bicol region
Central Visayas
Eastern Visayas
Mindanao

These areas are likely to have light to moderate rains, and some thunderstorms on Wednesday. Skies will be cloudy.

The rest of the country is predicted to experience only isolated thunderstorms and partly cloudy to cloudy skies.

The rains are partly due to the presence of a low pressure area (LPA). The LPA was spotted 175 kilometers east northeast of Daet, Camarines Norte.

The entire archipelago will have light to moderate winds. This means ocean waters all over the country will be slight to moderate.
