MANILA, Philippines – Typhoon Jenny (international name Dujuan) will bring rainy weather to parts of Luzon and the island of Panay in Visayas before leaving the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Tuesday, September 29.
Public Storm Warning Signal No 1 remains over the Batanes Group of Islands, says the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) in their Monday noon bulletin.
Metro Manila, Ilocos, Cordillera, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, Mimaropa, Calabarzon and the island of Panay will experience light to moderate rains due to Typhoon Jenny and the Southwest Monsoon.
Jenny was spotted 355 kilometers northeast of Itbayat, Batanes at 11 am on Monday. It packed maximum sustained winds of 185 km/h and gusts of up to 220 km/h.
It is expected to move west northwest at a speed of 19 km/h. It should be outside the PAR by the morning of Tuesday, September 29. – Rappler.com
