The low pressure area, however, will still bring rains to Luzon
MANILA, Philippines – Nona (international name Melor) further weakened into a low pressure area on Thursday morning, December 17.
In its bulletin issued 11 am on Thursday, state weather bureau PAGASA said all storm warning signals are now lifted.
But the low pressure area, which was last spotted 75 kilometers west of Olongapo City, Zambales, will still bring light to moderate rains to Luzon.
Fishermen are still advised not to set sail in the northern, western, and eastern seaboards of Luzon.
