MANILA, Philippines – Cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms will affect the Visayas on Friday, February 19, according to state weather bureau PAGASA.

In its 5 pm bulletin Thursday, February 18, PAGASA said the region of Cagayan Valley and the province of Aurora will also have cloudy skies but with light rains in the next 24 hours.

The tail-end of a cold front is affecting Eastern Visayas, while a northeast monsoon is affecting Luzon.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies will bring isolated light rains over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon, and isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Mindanao.

Moderate to strong winds will blow from the northeast over Luzon and Eastern Visayas, causing moderate to rough seas. Elsewhere, coastal waters will be slight to moderate as light to moderate winds blow from the east to northeast.
