Light-moderate rains in parts of PH on Tuesday

MANILA, Philippines – Light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms are expected in parts of the country on Tuesday, May 24.

In its weather bulletin issued 5 pm on Monday, May 23, state weather bureau PAGASA said the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) is affecting Mindanao, while the tail-end of a cold front is being felt in Extreme Northern Luzon.

There will be rains in Northern Mindanao and the Caraga Region, the Visayas, and the Bicol Region, Mimaropa, Calabarzon, Ilocos, and Batanes.

The rest of the country, including Metro Manila, could have isolated rainshowers, mostly in the afternoon or evening.

PAGASA also said that coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be moderate at most.
